Interviewer:

Okay, so tell me what your name is?

Mildred Crosby:

My name is Mildred Crosby.

Interviewer:

And you’re how old now? Do you mind saying?

Mildred Crosby:

Well, I was just ninety-seven, the last part of April.

Interviewer:

That’s what I heard; you just celebrated your 97th birthday. Congratulations! They tell me that they think you live on site at a Bible College – did they understand that correctly?

Mildred Crosby:

Yes, that’s where I live — near the Bible College.

Interviewer:

Which one?

Mildred Crosby:

(Inaudible)

Interviewer:

Oh, okay, and you’re here with another friend right now?

Mildred Crosby:

Yes, I have another friend today. She’s here – one of his patients – Dr. Shuster’s patients.

Interviewer:

Ok , now how long have you been a patient of Dr. Shuster?

Mildred Crosby:

Well, I would say probably eight to ten years. That was a guess of mine; but I’m sure it’s probably that much.

Interviewer:

And what kind of care has he provided you — what has he done?

Mildred Crosby:

Wonderful care! I think I came to him [Dr. Shuster] first and then I had a problem with my eye that he wanted [me] to see Dr. Ruskin because it was very important — that very day! It was very serious and so he [Dr. Shuster] called on Dr. Ruskin and Dr. Ruskin said that when he finished his work where he was — that was probably 5 o’clock in the evening — that he would come down and do a procedure on the problem with my eye. And so he told us where to go and so Dr. Shuster was the first one that had noticed that problem and referred me right away. Dr. Shuster was very concerned about it but he was also wanting to help but he knew where to go to help so he asked his friend Dr. Ruskin and that was the first time I’d seen Dr. Ruskin (through Dr. Shuster) so Dr. Shuster was the first one that I had as an eye doctor.

Interviewer:

And why do you have so much confidence in Alan, Dr. Shuster?

Mildred Crosby:

Because he seems to be very thorough, he wants to get to the problem, and he is very – of course – cheerful about it, very encouraging … and he does get to the problem and he’ll search for it in order to get to the problem so I appreciate that.

Interviewer:

So if you were telling somebody, “I think you should consider Alan Shuster as your Ophthalmologist because…”

Mildred Crosby:

Yes, yes, I would because he’s so thorough and brilliant in saying what the problem is – and very faithful to see if he can correct it. And so I was so glad that I could recommend another person — well really two people.

I have loved — LOVED — serving some of the greatest people in the world: the businesses, the ministries, the medical practices — ALL!
And if you want to locate one of the Crème de la crème guys, save the search and the time and the energy — and just go straight to Alan Shuster and get acquainted. The regard his patients possess for him is as deep and as vast as can be found … and all with GREAT, DESERVING reason.
In a random, unprepared, and unrehearsed video interview I conducted with one of his patients, Mildred Crosby, you’ll hear her describe Dr. Shuster accurately with words such as —–
“he seems to be very thorough, he wants to get to the problem, and he is very – of course – cheerful about it, very encouraging … and he does get to the problem and he’ll search for it in order to get to the problem so I appreciate that” and also words like “he’s so thorough and brilliant in saying what the problem is – and very faithful to see if he can correct it.”
If you’re searching for an outstanding ophthalmologist and you can possibly get to Stuart, Florida, I warmly and whole-heartedly encourage you to get Dr. Alan Shuster on your visit list.
